Fluffier Towels
Baking soda and vinegar aren't just for making homemade volcanoes any more! For fresher and fluffier towels, this Pin suggested washing your older towels with one cup vinegar on hot, then 1/2 cup baking soda on hot. I then washed them again with detergent on my normal cycles. Did the towels come out fluffier and did they smell better? I kind of thought so, but sometimes I feel like I convince myself of things - until today! Chad pulled a towel out of the basket and asked me if we had gotten new towels because they were all so fluffy! Success!

DIY Workout Racerback
I have a ton of college t-shirts from various fraternity and sorority events, fundraisers, philanthropies, clubs, etc. Most, I never wear. I definitely have my favorites, but when I saw a DIY Racerback Tank Tutorial on Pinterest, I reached for some of those I wear rarely when I busted out the scissors. So far, I have made two and I wear them to CrossFit workouts all the time. They are great, super comfortable, and wash well. I would definitely recommend cutting less at first. You can always cut more, but it gets a bit more complicated if you want to add fabric! On the back portion of the tank, I used a braid technique I saw on another Pin - pretty snazzy stuff!

Showerhead Cleaner
Fill a Ziploc bag with baking soda and white vinegar. Attach it to your shower head with a twisty tie and wait. It is supposed to clean your shower head. I am not sure if it worked or not. Probably not something I'll be doing again.

Orange Peel & Spice
Winter calls for oranges. What to do with all those orange peels? Diffuse your home with homemade orange spice! We did this for days during the extremely cold spells in January. It made the house smell delicious and feel extra homey.

Chex Mix / Muddy Buddies
I gave up chocolate for lent and saw a really yummy Valentine's Day Chex Mix on Pinterest. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat any because of the whole chocolate thing! I did a little more investigating on Pinterest and found two non-chocolate Chex Mix / Muddy Buddy recipes: Cinnamon Churro and Lemon Vanilla. Both were amazingly successful, however, I am looking forward to making some with chocolate and peanut butter after Easter!

Happy Pinning! Don't forget to get off the computer every once in a while and try a few of those projects :)

And I put baking soda in the water for hard boiled eggs and they peel much easier!
